STATISTICS introduces the basic concepts of data analysis and statistical computing. Both methods have been used in the social sciences and humanities. The emphasis is on the practical application of quantitative reasoning, visualization, and data analysis. The course also exposes students to using software and conducting their own basic statistical analysis, as well as providing an understanding of how to use statistical data in related fields.
