DFN40283 ROUTING ESSENTIALS SESI II: 2023/2024

ROUTING ESSENTIALS course introduces students to the architecture, components and operations of routers in larger and more complex networks. Students learn how to configure routers for advanced functionality. By the end of this course, students will be able to configure, troubleshoot and demonstrate routers and resolve common issues with DHCP, FHRP, routing concepts, static route and OSPF in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

Pre-Requisite: DFC20143 INTRODUCTION TO NETWORK

CLO1: Perform routers configuration with advanced features to support end-to-end connectivity in routers network environment (P4, PLO 3)

CLO2: Demonstrate leadership, autonomy and responsibility while solve common configuration issues in a complex network (A3, PLO 5)

CLO3: Organize numerical skills in managing advanced operation of routers and switches for IPv4 and IPv6 networks (P4, PLO 6)
